Sevan is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to lead self-perform crews and subcontractors on residential military housing projects. This is a hands-on field leadership role responsible for supervising crews, driving daily jobsite production, and ensuring all work is completed safely, on schedule, and to high-quality construction standards.
Candidates should have strong experience in carpentry, framing, demolition, or residential construction, with proven ability to lead field crews and manage active jobsite operations.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and supervise self-perform crews (carpentry, framing, concrete, demolition, finishes)
- Manage daily field operations and ensure production schedules are met
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction documents
- Perform layout, measurements, and field verification
- Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment on-site
- Identify and resolve field issues quickly to avoid delays
- Ensure work meets quality standards and contract requirements
- Conduct daily inspections and support QA/QC processes
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and lead daily safety meetings (JHAs)
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized jobsite conditions
- Coordinate with Superintendents, Project Managers, and subcontractors
- Track daily labor, production, and material usage
- Complete daily reports, timesheets, and jobsite documentation
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
- 5–10 years of hands-on construction experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
- Proven ability to lead crews on self-perform construction work
- Background in framing, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, drywall.
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, safety practices, and blueprint reading.
- Ability to operate tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- OSHA 30, or ability to acquire, is required.
- First Aid/CPR, or ability to acquire, is required
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Pay & Benefits:
- $60,000 - $70,000 annually based on a full-time schedule, market and business conditions, and is commensurate on individual education, qualifications, and experience

Work Conditions & Travel:
This is a fully on-site role at the project location(s). Must have ability to stoop, stand, climb, and frequently lift up to 50 lbs. Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine. Involves movement between floors, and properties to facilitate work. Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you.
