Overview

We are an award-winning local design-build remodeling company with over 16 years experience in the kitchen and bath industry. Our team is dedicated to providing our clients with exceptional service, quality products, and services that exceed their expectations. We are looking for an experienced kitchen and bath designer salesperson to join our team. Our showroom is located near Timonium, MD and our service area covers south central Pennsylvania and Maryland. We carry stock, semi-custom, and custom cabinetry as well as a great selection of flooring, tile, and hardware.

Duties

The kitchen and bath designer salesperson is responsible for the design and sale of kitchens, bathrooms, and interior living spaces. This position will be responsible to provide quality work in accordance with company standards and client specifications.

Detailed job duties include:

  • Meet with prospective clients in their homes to discuss their interior remodeling projects
  • Develop a design plan that meets client's required specifications, budgets and timelines for each project
  • Meet with clients in our showroom to select materials for projects and sign contracts
  • The ability to close kitchen and bath remodeling projects is required
  • Completes all paperwork accurately and timely
  • Provides timely feedback to company management regarding challenges or customer concerns
  • Work with other designers on projects as needed or requested by management in order to ensure quality work is completed within time constraints
  • Help staff home improvement shows throughout the year
  • Stay current in industry product knowledge and trends

Qualifications and skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a kitchen and bath designer salesperson with a proven successful sales record
  • Proficient with 2020 Design Live or similar
  • Professional demeanor & communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Ability to multitask well under pressure while maintaining high levels of quality control standards
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and planning
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Must be able to travel to clients’ homes and have own transportation
