The Business Development Manager is a strategic thinker and relationship builder who plays a crucial role in driving Morgan-Keller’s growth and success. 

Essential Duties

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities: This includes market research, identifying potential clients, and developing new business strategies. 
  • Building and maintaining relationships: Cultivating strong relationships with potential and existing clients, stakeholders, and partners. 
  • Generating leads and managing the sales pipeline: Implementing lead generation strategies, managing the sales process, and developing proposals. 
  • Developing and implementing business plans: Creating detailed plans for new markets, client needs, and new products. 
  • Collaborating with other teams: Working with sales, marketing, operations, and other departments to ensure goals are aligned. 
  • Closing deals and securing partnerships: Leveraging negotiation skills to finalize deals and strategic partnerships. 
  • Training and development: Training sales staff on business development strategies and techniques.

Experience, Education & Training: A B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field of study; specific training and education focused on sales and the sales management discipline, a minimum of 5 to 10 years.
