Construction Supervisor

Ward Communities is looking for a Construction Supervisor to oversee and manage all aspects of residential construction projects ensuring that they are completed safely, on time and within budget.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Oversees and Supervises daily operations at construction site(s).
• Coordinate and manage construction projects from start to finish.
• Ensures compliance with building codes, safety guidelines and quality standards.
• Follows construction drawings and approved plans.
• Collaborate with Architects, Engineers and Subcontractors.
• Ability to develop and maintain project schedules.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure work quality and progress.
• Helps to set and stick to the budget and schedule.
• Manage project documentation and reports.
• Ability to address any issues or delays that may arise during construction.
• Works directly with the Production Manager.

Work Hours and Benefits: The Construction Supervisor position is a Full Time, 40 hour per week, 8 hour per day position, Monday - Friday.  There may be occasional times that you would need to work more than 40 hours per week or work on weekends as needed.  Benefits include:

Qualifications and Skills: 

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Experience in Construction Management  and Construction Management Software
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong understanding of quality control processes
• Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, and sitting for long periods, and lifting 50 + pounds.
• Must have Driver's License
