Jr. Survey Project Manager

We are currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the full-time position of the Jr. Land Survey Project Manager for our Computations section in our Silver Spring office.

• Duties and Responsibilities

This is not an entry level position.The ideal candidate will already have some office and field surveying experience and will be tasked with:

· The preparation and processing of residential Subdivision Plats, Easements, and rights of-

way, under the supervision of a MD Professional land surveyor

· Online research (plats.net; mdlandrec.net, SDAT) , organizing documents, and analyzing

deeds, plats, and other publicly available sources of property information necessary to

create base drawings for land development projects.

Required Skills and Experience

· Must be proficient with and have at least three years of experience with AutoCAD, Civil

3D and Microsoft Office programs. Experience with Microstation is a plus, but not

required.

· Should have experience with dealing with WSSC, PG-DPIE; MC-DPS, MNCP&P

· Should have exposure using networked desktop computer systems.

· Must have good communication skills.

· Must have regular in-office attendance, the ability to work independently with direction

and a desire to learn and progress in the Survey profession, both personally and as part of a team.
