Responsibilities:

  • Supervise finish work and schedule, ensuring work is completed on time and at high standards.
  • Coordinate with other supervisor’s work is completed on time and efficient.
  • Manage a team of subcontractors providing guidance to ensure all work is completed to the require standard.
  • Ensure all work is carried out with OSHA standards and workers are trained and equipped to work safely.
  • Keep record of all finish work to keep on schedule to encounter issues or delays.
  • Monitor quality and schedule and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Communication- answering questions and keeping contractors informed on the progress of the project.
  • Update areas of improvement to finish process with the team, to make improvements/efficiency and quality changes.

 

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience with emphasis on semi-custom single family homes and townhomes.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings.
  • Experience in leading teams of finish contractors.
  • Knowledge of finish materials and techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Enforcing safety and OSHA standards.
  • Microsoft Projects Knowledge for scheduling

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Attendance/Travel:

  • Ability to travel to other communities, main office or training location.
